Please know you are purchasing from a shop based in Canada 🇨🇦 and tariffs/duty/customs fees imposed by your government may apply if you are shipping to an address outside Canada. These fees are not charged by Public Mercantile.

Shipping Charges

🇨🇦 We offer a flat rate of $19 CAD for shipping items throughout Canada and free shipping for purchases over $250 CAD before taxes. 

If you reside in a country outside of Canada and would like to ship an order, please create a basket of what you would like, take an screenshot and email it to us (hello@shoppublicmercantile.com) with a request for a custom shipping quote.

We do not refund shipping and handling charges and you are responsible for all shipping and customs costs on merchandise being returned to us. (See return policy here.)

Note: We offer free local pick-up from our retail location at 1804 Government St, Victoria, BC, during our regular business hours.

🇺🇸 Important update for US customers

Sadly we have to indefinitely pause all shipping to the USA as of August 29, 2025. There is currently too much uncertainty and confusion around taxes and tariffs at the border, and we don't want either you or us to be caught in a financially surprising situation. We are exploring solutions and hope to ship to the US again soon.
