Can I place an order online for pick up in store?
Yes! You won't receive confirmation of your order until we can physically be in the shop and pull the items off the shelf; we will then confirm it and charge your card. If any items are out of stock, we will let you know. (Sometimes with a physical store, items can be purchased simultaneously in person and online, so we want to be sure you can get your items before your card is charged.) You will receive an email confirmation when your items are ready for pickup, normally within 24 hours.
Please note that if you place an order outside of shop hours, we won't be able to process the order until the next open day. (For example, if you place it Sunday at 5pm, we would process your order on Tuesday at 11:00 when we are next open.)
What are your shop hours?
- Tuesday - Friday: 11:00 am - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm
- Monday: CLOSED
Can I place an order online to be shipped outside of Victoria?
We aren't currently set up for shipping as we don't have the capacity quite yet to manage it on a regular basis; however, we can get a custom quote for you if you live outside of the British Columbia. Simply add your order together in a cart, take note of the order number, and email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let us know you'd like a shipping quote for your order. If you request a custom shipping quote, please be patient with us as it takes time to gather things up and make the trek to the post office, so allow at least 24-48 hours. 😊
What is your return policy?
As we are a small, independent local boutique, we cannot process refunds, but we can offer exchanges or store credit for returns with 10 days with receipt. Please see more details here.
Where do you get all your products?
We source from many places, and we look for items we love that aren't found in other Victoria shops. We strive to have a good mix of local and Canadian products along with indie international brands. Everything on our shelves has a story and is carefully chosen — just ask if you have curiosity about any of our items and we can tell you all about it!
Why did you decide to open a retail shop in the middle of a pandemic?
We look at it like having a baby — the timing is never going to be perfect, so you just gotta do it when you're ready and figure it out afterwards! We actually didn't have any intention to open a storefront; we had started a creative agency in 2020 and a skincare line in 2021, but then the opportunity presented itself with a fantastic space for lease on upper Fort St so we embraced the challenge!
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to come in, said nice things about the shop, and/or purchased something. We are so grateful for your support and could not be more proud to be a part of Victoria's vibrant business scene. ❤️
